We stayed at the National Road Transport Museum, eight kilometres south of Alice Springs, for four days. An unpowered site costs $15 and includes toilet and shower facilities, as well as water. However, it feels like being crammed into a caravan park, which is definitely not our style of camping, especially with noisy neighbours. I went to the office today, and when we return next week, we plan to camp in a more spacious and open area.
On Sunday, during our visit, the museum hosted an open day with free entry, allowing us to enjoy a walk through the extensive and well-worth-exploring museum.
