We camped at the National Road Transport Museum eight kilometres south of Alice Springs for four days. An unpowered site is $15, with toilet and shower facilities and water available. Still, it's like being crammed into a caravan park, which is definitely not our style of camping with noisy neighbours, so I went to the office today, and when we return next week, we will camp in a more open area with plenty of space.
On Sunday, while here, the museum had an open day with free entry, so we enjoyed our walk through the museum, which is very extensive and well worth looking at.
